Spiritually
We Grow People …SPIRITUALLY
“… that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ.”
Ephesians 4:14-15 NKJVGrowth is development or improvement toward a goal called "maturity" (or, in the Bible, “perfection”). When a person is “born again” as a child of God, he or she is spiritually immature. As time passes, they should develop the qualities or abilities which the Bible says characterize the mature. A congregation matures as individual members mature. We promote and encourage Spiritual Growth at KIRCF:
•Two (2) Worship Services on Sunday Mornings: 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
•Sunday Morning Bible Fellowship at 9:30 a.m. weekly for all ages.
•“Hour of Power” Bible Fellowship on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays at 12 p.m. taught by the senior pastor.
•Youth and Children’s Bible Fellowship on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
•Special Men’s and Women’s Book Clubs for peer growth, support and fellowship. -
Financially
We Grow People …FINANCIALLY
“For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God …”
Colossians 1:9-10 NKJV
In the scriptures we are taught that the use of our finances is a matter of stewardship with our God, and growth and prosperity in this area comes as a result of wisdom and faithfulness. Learning, using and applying these financial principles in our daily lives helps us to grow financially, and protect our spiritual commitment to God which often becomes compromised by financial stress. We promote and encourage Financial Growth at KIRCF:
•We offer Free Monthly Financial Workshops (called “YOU-TURN”) with a wide range of topics: budgeting, banking, debt reduction, credit repair, saving and investments etc.
•We offer Free Christian Personal Financial counseling and coaching.
•We utilize Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover and Crown Financial Money Management.

Relationally
We Grow People …RELATIONALLY
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV
Growing healthy and happy relationships are no accident, but are developed by building upon the biblical principles of relationship, respect, restraint, roles and responsibility. We promote and encourage Couple Relationship Growth at KIRCF:
•We conduct Free Monthly Fellowships (married or un-married, singles) and Workshops (called “Relation-TIPS”) with a wide range of topics: communication, conflict resolution, overcoming our differences, fighting-fair etc.
•We offer trusted and respected relationship help resources: books, pamphlets, dvd’s etc.

Generationally
We Grow People …GENERATIONALLY
“…that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility.”
Titus 2:4-7 NKJV
Mentoring is an aspect of discipleship. It is important and imperative. In fact, this is the sum total of what the purpose of the Church is all about. Nowhere is the need greater as we look forward to the future of the church, than in the area of Student mentoring. We promote and encourage Generational Growth at KIRCF:
We conduct Monthly Mentoring Training (called “Generation-NEXT”) for Teens: 13 to 18 years old. (male & female). Our mentoring sessions are facilitated by our Men’s and Women’s ministries with mentoring in:

Socially
We Grow People …SOCIALLY
“for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”
Matthew 25:35-36 NKJV
One of the roles and responsibilities of the church is the preservation of our community around us. Along with evangelism, we accomplish this by community service and partnerships. Our world is full of needs. There are countless opportunities and ways for us to reach out to those around us; we simply have to open our eyes. We have to train ourselves to see the world through a new perspective, “What can we do to serve those around us?” We promote and encourage Social Growth at KIRCF:
•We conduct Monthly Social Outreach Fellowships (called “Mission-POSSIBLE”) for targeted outreach efforts in the areas of: Evangelism, Hunger-Homelessness, Disaster Relief, and Foreign & Domestic Missions.
•This is a lay-ministry fellowship that meets monthly (open to all members), sets it’s on goals and agenda, and participates in outreach events.
•Come Out and Join Us … You Can Make A Difference!
